Reserve – Paintings from riparian forest

Paintings from the riparian forest are part of the project, which includes video, series of photographs and also artistic action. In autumn and winter 2012 I created myself an atelier in the riparian forest by the Vistula river in Cracow. This place is considered to be the most precious nature-wise on premises of Cracow, yet it it still endangered, either by projects about renovation of the river banks, or by planned bypass Pychowicka Route. The paintings were painted from life. I did not take them home with me. The forest was my atelier for a few months. Paintings blended into the landscape creating an installation. First display and vernissage of paintings took place on the spot in riparian forest where I invited people from Cracow for a trip. Next reveal, of the entire project this time, took place in Gallery of Bunkier Sztuki in Cracow during an individual exposition City Reserve in 2013.
